Golf on the go is glad to welcome a new destination from our friends in Casablanca, Morocco. We are presenting 7 golf courses in Marrakech.
Amelkis Golf - This is a new Cabell Robinson design course located next to the Marrakech Royal Golf Club, with wonderful views of the snow-covered Atlas Mountains. Although fairly open, this is a challenging course with plenty of water hazards, bunkers, and mounds.
Royal Marrakech Golf Club - Built in the 1920s by the pasha of Marrakesh, the Royal Golf Club of Marrakech is one of the longest established in Morocco. Constantly renovated and improved, it is also one of King Hassan II's favourite courses. Winston Churchill, David Lloyd George, and General Eisenhower have also played here. It is a course of extreme beauty. Located at the feet of the Atlas Mountains, the course has cypress, eucalyptus, palm, olive, orange and apricot trees.

Bear Creek
Golf Club - Murrieta, CA
Bear Creek Golf Club is one of a select group of Jack Nicklaus' Signature Golf Courses in the world. Jack Nicklaus' search for an ideal site in Southern California led him to the Temecula Valley and the serenity of the Santa Rosa Plateau where Bear Creek Golf Club was to take shape. Nicklaus, joined by Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson and Fuzzy Zoeller, formally introduced the course to the public in 1985 when Bear Creek hosted the nationally televised PGA Skins Game.
Bear Creek Golf Club has a deal fairway and a two-level green. Options, options. Drive to the upper level on the left if you want to go with the Big Dog, play the lower level with something else. On the upper level, you have a longer second shot but a better angle to the green. A high fade works well from there. Jack's trade-off for anyone taking the shorter route is this: The approach must come in over a deep greenside bunker. Besides that, a creek crosses the fairway short of the green and sees its share of misery. Bear Creek is situated on what was once interior ranchland. It's now one of those residential communities where you can mistake a number of private homes for the clubhouse.

Golf
in Mesquite Nevada!
CasaBlanca
Falcon Ridge
Oasis

Wolf Creek
The
Palms Golf Course
The Palms Golf
Course is the oldest 18-hole course in mesquite. Set amidst the desert landscape of
sagebrush and tumbleweeds, the course offers an island of palm trees and lush green
fairways with a number of water hazards ready to catch the wayward shot. The course
provides golfers with two contrasting nines. The front nine is constructed of fairly
flat wide fairways with the lake hazards providing the real challenge. The back nine
is more dramatic with elevated tee boxes and a few forced carries of desert canyons.
The
Oasis Golf Course
If elevated tee boxes with dramatic shots to slot canyon fairways is your game, then the
Arnold Palmer designed Oasis is your course. Meandering through the foothills
surrounding Northern Mesquite and offering some of the most dramatic scenery in the area,
the Oasis isn't for the faint of heart. The course offers narrow fairways, many
bunkers, water hazards and undulating fairways that leave the golfer with few level lies.
The
CasaBlanca
The Cal Olsen designed CasaBlanca Golf Course is a challenging course that is a great test
of the scratch golfer while being fair and playable for the middle to high handicapper.
This desert course is built with plenty of water. The Virgin River meanders
through four or five of the holes and more lake water can be found on eight other holes.
Not only does it provide hazard areas but also, perhaps more importantly, it
provides wetland area for the dessert fowl. A twilight nine if the cool evening may
just tempt you to carry your bag.
